Dolomites Activity Holidays

Dolomites Adventure Activity Holidays

1) 8 Day Hiking Trails, Rock Climbing, Via Ferrata and Mountain Biking in Arabba

Arabba was Austrian territory up until the end of the First World War and this gives it a distinct cultural flavour unlike other parts of Italy. Situated in the heart of the Dolomites it is the ideal setting for walking, biking, exploring and relaxing - far away from the chaos of the cities down below. Throughout the small local communities you can find vivid displays of typical alpine flora and fauna which have earned Arabba a place in the European project 'Rete Natura 2000' which means its biodiversity is protected and it is a recognised area of conservation. This package is ideal for anyone wanting to spend a relaxing outdoor week surrounded by the exceptional beauty of the Dolomites and it will also appeal to nature and sports lovers alike. The flexible nature of this trip enables you to make your holiday as thrilling as you'd like with a number of optional activities to choose from. This package includes walking tours and a cultural theme with guided and mountain walking activities.

2) 8 Day Hiking, Rock Climbing, Horse Riding, Via Ferrata and Canyoning in Zoldo

The Zoldo area has been well-known as an important mining centre since the thirteenth century. In summer, the valley is a fascinating destination for high-altitude walkers, who visit the Pelmo, Civetta or Moiazza mountain ranges. There are numerous alpine routes, woodland nature trails and historic discovery treks which take in all that this beautiful location has to offer. Hunt for prehistoric remains, marvel at the priceless artworks hidden away in the ancient churches and get in touch with industries of the past by visiting a local iron mine - all to be found here in the Val di Zoldo. The traditional architecture of the area has been particularly well preserved, and many typical houses made from wood and stone can be admired throughout the valley. Enjoy a refreshing week-long break in the Zoldo Valley and take in the beauty of these picturesque landscapes, romantic villages and impressive mountains. There's lots to explore on foot and plenty of outdoor activities to keep you busy during your stay.
