Dolomites
The Dolomites are regarded by many as the most beautiful mountains in the world and offer a wide choice of low level and high level mountain walking as well as Via ferrata climbing, which provides a unique means of ascent to high level routes for you to enjoy the sheer magnificence of this awesome mountain landscape.
To travel to this region is akin to seeing the crown jewels of the Alpine range with explosive shapes, unique colours and rock formations providing a unique mountain environment.
Throughout your trip you will be presented with amazing views and mountain situations that will take your breath away.
The Via ferratas represent one of the major attractions in the Dolomites and many of the routes were originally built to aid swift movement of alpine troops during the First World War.
These routes provide protected access with fixed cables, ladders and gorge spanning bridges which aid ascent to places that are normally only accessible by expert rock climbers.
In recent years many original wartime routes have been restored and the network has been extended around the whole of the Dolomite region covering the North, Central and Eastern sector as well as the Southern Dolomites in the Brenta and Lake Garda regions.
Our holidays provide carefully selected options for people of all ages and fitness levels from low-medium level walks, or high level circuits to full day excursions including glacier trekking. Most of our trips are offered all year round varying from 7, 10 or 14 days and can be structured in accordance with the requirements of individual groups. |
