The French Alps are renowned for their stunning scenery complete with beautiful mountains, rolling foothills, and pristine lakes and rivers. Well-known resorts such as Chamonix make the French Alps a world famous destination for mountaineers and hill walkers throughout the year.
Its prize peak is Mont Blanc, which, at 4,807 m (15,771 ft), is Western Europe’s highest mountain and spectacular backdrop for our circuit of this magnificent mountain massif over 10-12 days covering around 170km (105) miles with an accumulated height gain and loss of about 10000m (32800ft).
We also offer the classic Haute Route between Chamonix, France and Zermatt, Switzerland which is widely acknowledged as Europe's finest high level mountain trek where you will encounter stunning scenery and majestic peaks on one of the World's finest multi-day treks.
Our French Alps experience also includes an alternative route between Chamonix and Zermatt that offers a linear route at lower altitude to the classic Haute Route which provides a less arduous option for those who wish to enjoy spectacular Alpine scenery the easier way.
