Dolomites - High Level Walks

7/10/14 Day Walking Holidays based in Val Gardena

This excursion will take you along high alpine trails with occasional scrambling including

some exposed ridges near the summits of spectacular massifs, where we visit a number

of remote rifugios and enjoy breathtaking views of some of Europe's most beautiful mountains.

The welcoming rifugios are a real highlight on many of our walks, varying from basic wooden huts to stone lodges with commanding panoramic views from their sun terraces.

The trip is a step up in difficulty from our low level walks and requires a higher degree of

physical fitness and stamina with previous experience of high level mountain terrain.

For those contemplating the 10 or 14 day holiday a good level of fitness is a prerequisite whereby you will undertake 6 or 9 days walking on each respective trip. Alternatively, our 7 day holiday is an ideal choice for those with limited experience of high level mountain walking.
