BASIC PACKAGE
- Activities: 5 days of skiing accompanied by a UIAGM/IFMGA mountain guide
- Course instruction: Training in the skills necessary for skiing off-piste (snow stability tests, skiing techniques for demanding glacier terrain, and different types of snow, abseiling)

Itinerary
Day 1: ARRIVAL
Arrival and check-in.
IFMGA mountain guide will welcome you, introduce the program, and answer any questions.
Day 2: MAGROTZENKOPF (2734m)
A cable car ride and a short climb up a mountain will bring you to the main alpine ridge from where you will enjoy a fantastic view of parts of Salzburg and Carinthia. This will be followed by an 800m walk downhill towards Kasereck.
(Walking time: 1.5 hours, ascent: 350m)
Day 3: BRENNKOGEL (3016m)
The Großglockner Heiligenblut ski resort’s funicular will take you comfortably up the mountain. Nevertheless, this 3000 metre high alpine summit tour is not to be under-estimated! A classic trek facing the mighty Großglockner!
(Walking time: 3 hours, ascent: 931m)
Day 4: STRASSKOPF (2402m)
This is an easy and very popular tour which also includes a comfortable rest stop halfway up the mountain. Every year a well-attended and popular ski tour takes place here!

Day 5: STANZIWURTEN (2707m)
The Stanziwurten, also known as “Wurzenkopf”, is Mittner’s local mountain and is perfect for a fun and rewarding ski tour thanks to its wonderful downhill slopes. On the sunny side of the Mölltal valley you will find a more cultural landscape with farmhouses, mills and huts. The woodworking skills used in their construction are second to none.

Day 6: ECKKOPF (2871m)
On day 6 you will take a wonderfully scenic hike up an eye-catching peak. The last few metres require a dose of mountaineers’ courage!
